As long as you're healthy, yes. Most cookie doughs contain raw eggs, that's why they don't reccommend eating it raw. I wouldn't recommend eating raw cookie dough if your ill or feeding it to a child.

Yes it is okay. Get this Hudsonville Ice Cream has a new flavor.......my son and I went to an ice cream shop today...it is "Raw Cake Batter" tastes just like yellow cake mix before it is cooked. People were buying it like crazy!I don't think it has killed anybody yet and we have been doing it for hundreds of years. Yes, unless it has eggs in it, then you could get salmonella.
