Answers:
Yes, wash the potatoes in water first and wrap them in foil while still wet. (I usually spray some PAM on mine and salt the "jackets" before I wrap them up.)

Then before you put them on the grill, push a large spike nail through the potato. (You can buy these at Home Depot - about 1/4" in dia and about 10 inches long.)

The nail gets hot and cooks the potato from the inside out in about 25 minutes and it doesn't allow enough time to burn. No need to turn them either.

Other Answers:
ya use tin foil.

of course you wrap them in aluminum foil and put them over the charcoal, and turn them every 10 mins and they will take about 30 mins to cook w/o burning yes, wrap in foil, turn every thirty minutes till done ,about an hour or so, delicious.

yep, it takes about 45 min, use tin wraps and rotate often. if you have a 'shelf' put it on that

Yes indeed. Take your potatoes, wash them well. Poke holes in them, and baste them with melted butter. Seal them up in foil. They are yummy this way!

Yes, you can wrap them in tin foil or else keep them over indirect heat. My Dad always cooked the potatoes on the grill along side the meat. After they were just about done, he basted BBQ sauce on them so the skins tasted great! Yes it is. It will take between 6-8 hours and you will have to rotate (roll the potato) to ensure it does not burn on one side.

yeah wrap them in tin foil. its extra yummy if you put salt on the outside of the potatoe before baking, preferebly sea salt. but yeah just cook em till they are soft i would guess like 30 - 45 mins.

Uh yeah, wrap em in tin foil...

yes it is.....wrap them in foil, keep them off of direct flame, and keep the lid closed as much as possible. you will create an "oven like" environment. to test if they are done, just squeeze them after a while, probably 45 minutes. they should give in nicely All these sound great. The only thing I would add is, after you wash them well, make sure they are soaked before you wrap them in foil. The water vapor helps cook them faster.

yes i dip potatos in olive oil before wraping them.

We've wrapped them in tin foil thenplaced them on the grill.
