Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Is it safe to eat packaged cookie dough?),it will help you,my kids.
I don't care - I will mix some up with real eggs just to eat it raw. But my girlfriend's mom freaks out, and she won't even let her eat it from a package. I was pretty sure the eggs were pasteurized. Is it safe?
Answers:
Yes, you should be able to eat it without dying!
My kids eat it all the time. They'd rather eat it out of the tube than baked. They're still alive and doing quite well.
Other Answers:
no it's not safe, you're lucky you haven't got salamonilla poisoning.
I love cookie dough but I would not eat too much but its ok its as healthy as cookies. Yes it's safe..you'll just poop out cookies!
I think not dude!
should be... not that using real eggs is much of a risk but I guess to be safe the packaged stuff is good.yes, for a while. if you eat too much of it, you can get serious weight issues and bad health which could possibly cause you too die earlier than normal. plz take my advice. i know you love it, but if you care about your health, you will stop. who knows, but i enjoy it! Eat on! :)
I hope so...but I'm still ok.
Look at the ingredients list, it probably contains eggs. Eating raw eggs is never safe.Packaged cookie dough, like in the tube and you just slice them up? Cuz that's safe. Adding raw eggs can potentially give you salmonella, though. im not sure but it does taste good.
its not the healthiest thing to be eating...but eating too much of anything isn't good for you.....but yes its fine....i eat both...and nothing has happend to me
There is such thing as frozen cookie dough I used to get frozen cookie dough cookies at the school cafateria.I think so I've always ate "raw cookie dough" I am still doing fine. I don't eat very much at a time though. technically no but i've never had a problem with it, just dont leave it out too long before ya chow down.
i dunno but i always eat it
Instead of asking us, why not read the package or call the toll-free number on the package or visit the website address on the package? I think the company could give you more reliable info than Yahoo! No, you will get worms. Yes. I have done it al my life...its the greatest. The only cookie dough thats not that safe is the kind you make at home because it has real raw eggs. If it was unsafe to eat raw it would say so on the packaging. Do you think that if it was unsafe pregnant ladies would stay away from it??? My friends all ate it during there pregnancies...and I even have a package ten feet away from me right now. It doesnt say anything about not eating it raw.

She dosen't want you to eat raw egg but it is up to you. its safe but i wouldnt eat a whole lot----youll get sick. trust me iv been there!
I think it depends on the cookie dough. Heh.
Yes, it's safe. DIg in.No I would say it's not good. It's raw eggs and raw dough it might give you a bad tummy ache. It hasn't killed me yet.
I do it all the time
RAW EGG WARNING
Food Network Kitchens suggest caution in consuming raw and lightly-cooked eggs due to the slight risk of Salmonella or other food-borne illness. To reduce this risk, we recommend you use only fresh, properly-refrigerated, clean, grade A or AA eggs with intact shells, and avoid contact between the yolks or whites and the shell. You know there is such a flavor of commercially produced ice-cream as "cookie dough" -- cookie dough ice cream (with cookie dough bits in it) must have uncooked cookie dough, or they wouldn't call it cookie "dough", they wouold call it cookie "bits".
Don't you believe that such commercial products are tested before they are marketed. Don't you believe that if it was unsafe the FDA would have pulled such products from the market - or prevented them from being marketed in the first place.
If it can be mixed into a commercial product, regulated by the FDA, doesn't that suggest that it is safe to eat?
