I EAT RICE ALL THE TIME IS IT HEALTHY
Answers:
It all depends on what you eat with the rice. Everything is bad for you if you have to much of it.
Other Answers:
It is in moderation. If you eat a lot of rice everyday, it will still make you fat.
its a starch and a carb, but it is healthy
Its OK as long as it is boiled and you eat with other stuff too. Wash all the excess starch off it before cooking.
Yeah, as long as it's not fried. Brown rice is one of the best foods you can eat.
Yes. Very healthy.
Yes, although it's very high in carbohydrates (I don't follow a high-protein diet, but for those who do rice wouldn't be a good staple food). Look at how healthy Asian people tend to be, and they eat a ton of rice. Brown rice is better for you, of course, because it has more fiber and nutrients, but I prefer Jasmine rice -- it's grown in Thailand, and it has a great flavor.
brown rice and long grain rice are both healthier than regular white rice.
brown rice is better but its not too bad if you dont use lots of real butter, use low fat imitation
brown rice is better cause it's not bleached
Yes , a billion Chinese can be wrong.

Rice can be healthy if it is cooked properly.
White rice can be processed by bleaching it, so check the ingredients of the package.
The brown rice is supposed to be healthier for you but be careful about if you are allergic to wheat or brown rice.
it depends. r u hot? if u r hot, u can keep eating it. if u aren't then u have to cut down on carbs. less food = less u. if u want eat the same amount, switch to brown rice. it contains more indigestible fiber. so less sticks to u.
Food always affects people differently. If you have eaten it regularly for some time now and have had no weight problems or other health concerns, then it may be fine for you. I believe that rice is a great food. It is a crab, low fat and fills you up. I have heard that the plain white rice is the best for eating healthy. So stick to what you like if it is working for you and remember to eat a balanced diet somewhat. But rice can easily fit into that! :) It is not like a piece of pie or cake everyday, so do not worry so. I love rice too!
Well, if rice didn't have some sort of nutritional value, people in Asia (i.e. Korea, Japan, China, etc) would starve (or rather would have starved) to death during the winters. Sure, rice is a starch, but it helps sustain the body during rough periods.
White (bleached) rice has no where near the nutrients of brown rice. Brown rice is healthy. It is a complex carb food.
Too much of anything is not good.
I think it is. I was brought up on rice and beans and they say that both of them are very good for you. PLUS the oldest woman in the world is Asian and when asked how she's lived so long she said by eating rice and living without worries. Even if it wasn't, who cares?! I eat stuff that's bad for me all the time, I do it because its good and it makes me happy! That's what its all about!
White Rice has no nutrients value what so ever. It's carbs, but gives you nothing as far has nutrients.
Brown rice is healthier than white rice. Rice isn't bad for you but it's full of starch.
Very... i guess cos i am asian.
It's a starch, so there are a lot of carbs. Try brown rice. Also, stay away from the boxed stuff that comes with the seasoning packets. Those are high in sodium and some flavors add a lot of calories and fat.
