Answers:
Yes for most things. I find the brand "So Good" is best. You have to be careful b/c in some things it can burn, but it's usually fine. The main thing soy milk doesn't really work in is coffee. It curdles as soon as you pour it in. You have to heat up the soy milk separately before you pour it into anything hot like that. If you try it and find it isn't working, don't give up - there are so many different brands and each tastes and works differently. Good luck!

Other Answers:
no skim milk is

You can replace regular milk with soy milk in almost any recipe. Just make sure you're using the plain soy milk, not the vanilla :) Typically no, try a lactose free milk instead like Lactaid. However, some things, the whole point is that it has lactose in it, thats what causes the chemical reactions etc.

It is vanilla soy milk works best I am a vegan and use this quite frequently

You be the judge.

yes, in most recipes. Try Fat free milk .. its really Great to use without using Soy milk .. often times it taste very different between soy and regular milks. So try Fat Free milk and its satisfactory for me ... Even i love soy milk .. i prefer soy for drinking only .. Fat free milk for any cookings but yet healthy!

for me it is.

It definitely depends on the recipe. One of my friends tried substituting soy milk for the milk needed for a muffin mix, and they didn't turn out very well. I'd suggest using regular milk for baking things, and experiment with soy in other recipes.

yes you can use soy milk in place of reg. milk. i do that all the time with everything.
