I've got one that was borrowed by a local restaurant from me and my friend who created it and sold out every time. I am not going to specify proportions as it is basically to taste. You can serve it that day or if you really want it great let it simmer in a crock pot for 3 days.
ground beef and ground pork
tomato sauce and tomato paste
celery and onion
green and red peppers
oregano
salt and pepper
garlic and a bay leaf or two
you can basically add any veggie or extra seasoning that you like. the key is in the meat.
this sold out every time it was offered and i cant keep it in the crock pot for 3 days anymore because people are eating it in a bowl without the noodles it is very hearty and very tasty.

Pasta Pomodoro
Simple, simple simple and I am sure you will love it.... Enjoy!

simmer 15 minutes

If you are looking for a quick and easy spaghetti sauce, combine crushed tomatoes or tomato puree with Italian seasonings (rosemary, garlic, sage, thyme, parsley) and heat thoroughly. Add salt and pepper to taste with 1/2 cup of parmesan or romano cheese. Stir and allow 2-3 minutes for combination, and the sauce will be complete. If you don't care for chunks of tomato in your sauce, use the puree instead, or you could always use tomato sauce to eliminate the possibility of tomato pieces altogether.
its not quite a sauce but its delicious with any type of pasta
1 egg per person
grated cheese a handful per person
salt and white pepper
cook the pasta till al-dente
mix the eggs well add the salt and pepper and cook till scrambled add the cooked pasta and grated cheese - mix through till all pasta is coated in cheese and egg - serve and eat
I am half Sicilian and my grandmothers recipe included an ingredient many people are amazed was included. CINNAMON! It actually should be used instead of sugar which most people use. Cinnamon compliments the tomatoes which can be too acidic. Try it and put about 2 tablespoons to a serving for 4. It's great!
