Put eggs and milk together; beat them. Put flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, in with eggs and milk; stir. But do not mix out the lumps. Add the melted shortening to the mixture. Mix but do not beat out the lumps. Grease the pan with butter or grease. Cook until done. Serve with butter and sugar or syrup or peanut butter or anything you want.
