Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Looking for recommendations... Cuisinart or Kitchenaid?),it will help you,my kids.

We're looking at the Cuisinart Pro Custom food processor and comparing it to a similar model Kitchenaid food processor. Anyone have recommendations, reviews or experience?

Answers:
While Cuisinart is the originator of the food processor, kitchenaid is now owned and produced by Hobart, a REAL commercial equipment producer.

if you are looking to outfit your kitchen get a high rpm Kitchenaid.

Other Answers:
I vote for Cuisinart. They are the original and best in my book.
I have Cuisinart mini processor. I love it so much! I wish I had a bigger one (if only I could convince my husband). I do have a cheap=o family size one but I'd rather do my chopping in the mini (even if I have to do in batches).

I have all Cuisinart products. And, they are awesome. I've never had any trouble with them.

The only Kitchenaid product I have is the Pro Stand mixer. And, I do love that. Except the motor is loud, but it is better than doing doughs and breads by hand.

Hope this helps you!
Both are high quality machines. Be sure to examine the power of the motor and rpm's. The faster RPM's will give you finer chopping, and higher power will mean less bogging down when processing tougher foods.

Look for a good pulse feature like a push button. You will do a lot of processing where you will need to pulse.

Having a food processor will not make you a Chef, but it will add more variety to the kinds of meals you prepare.

ENJOY.
There both good but look at the wattage...which is stronger.
