When making choc chip cookies, do you use REAL butter or do you use Margerine?
Answers:
Real butter, unsalted.
Other Answers:
Actually I find vegetable shortening is the best.
i like to use real butter, but either is acceptable
Real butter. Makes cookies a bit crisper, and gives them a better flavor.
Real butter. Margarine leaves them tasting oily and bland.
i use margerine.
real butter
real butter
use real butter, and be sure to use it at room temperature, not cold from the fridge.
Real butter is best, but you can use marg if you dont have any butter! I'm sure they'll still taste good!
Real butter is more dlectable for making cookies more crunchy and crumbly.. But both works well
i never knew there was a difference, ive been eating them my whole life and i never thought of asking that question,no need to...look...just make me some cookies and hand me a big glass of milk and im set...i dont care what kind of butter you put in it.
I always make my chocolate chip cookies with Crisco. Makes the best cookies. My Grandma taught me how to do that many years ago.
real butter...it is better tasting, has better texture, and is better for you
Use REAL butter, it makes a huge difference and your cookies will taste SOOOO much better. Margarine is just vegetable oil and hardly has any flavoring at all whereas the real butter has cream and milk in it and makes the cookies a lot better. (and softer too)
I use more Margerine than real butter cause i think -just think i m not sure- that it gives more taste!
real butter makes them taste better. remember fat is flavor. but ive noticed that butter gives cokkies a different texture from that of margerine. but also there r different types of butter such as salted and unsalted. i personally use salted 4 everything.
if you want better taste use real butter but if you want a vcookies that it is not that fatnig chose marg.
I use margerine
well, butter is allways hard to wash off, so what i do is try not to touch it and melt it in the microwave to then its like liquid then just pour it into the chocolate chip mix. But I dont care how you would like to do it, thats just any easy way to not get it on me.
It depends. If you are making them for the sole purpose of tasting the best then use butter. I definitely find a difference and I think they taste so much better with real butter. However, if you are watching your fat intake, then margarine will work as a substitute, but I think you lose some of the flavor.
Try using "I can't believe it's not butter" brand.
It depends on the texture you are after. Butter makes a crispy cookie while margarin or shortening makes a chewy cookie. I like using 1/2 of both.
You can actually use either one I think.
It depends on what kind of cookie you like. Butter will make them crisp, margarine or butter flavored crisco will make them tender and chewy.
I use real butter. A much better flavor. Just cook them for less time. Like 1-2 minutes less.
real butter.
often imitated,never equalled
Real butter, unsalted please, is always best, but Butter flavored Crisco makes a great cookie too, much better than margarine.
I use what ever the recipe calls for.
My recipe calls for shortening.
REAL BUTTER. There's nothing like it when it comes out and you take a bite it brings you back to when you were a kid at grandmas house :D
country crock spread
