Wouldn't the water boil faster if you started with hot tap water?

Answers:
time it....cold water rises to 112 degrees faster than hot water...the molecules in cold water are more condensed and easier to heat up as a whole rather in hot water the molecules are all spread out and harder to heat as a whole pot

Other Answers:
Do what you want. No difference.

Because theres generaly more minerals in hot water because of the build up in the hot water heater. There is a difference. I just dont remember what it is.

Hot water tends to cloud up when you boil it. The same thing happens to ice if you use hot water. The ice will cloud up.
