Diced peppers such as jalapeno are always good too. Onions or green peppers to name a couple.

Try a packet of lipton french onion soup (dried) and some worchestershire sauce.onions, Cajun spices, Lipton onion soup mix, steak sauce, eggs(makes it real moist) etc etc A couple of months ago I was watching one of those cooking shows on PBS and this guy grilled a steak, then tossed it with hot-wing sauce and blue cheese. I tried it with a cheap steak and expensive cheese and it was fantastic.
