I'm looking for a recipe for pizza like you would buy at Dominos or Papa John's. It's just never the same when I try it at home.

Answers:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. (use a pizza stone if possible or a black pizza pan.
2 1/2 tsp. dry yeast (granulated) dissolved in 1/2 cup very warm (not hot) water; add 1 tsp. sugar and 1 Tblsp. olive oil to water/yeast. (Set aside) Put 1 1/2 cups of bread flour in a mixing bowl. Add 1/2 tsp. salt. Mix well. Make a "well" in middle of flour/salt mixture. Pour in water/yeast/sugar/oil mixture and stir with rubber spatula until dough begins to form. Add a bit of warm water if necessary. Dough should be elastic, not wet. Knead dough on floured surface. Let rise in covered bowl until doubled. Roll out on floured pizza peel (paddle) with a little corn meal. It should make a 12"-14" thin-crust pizza. Brush olive oil over the surface. Using a fork, make holes every 1" - 2". Bake for four minutes. Remove from oven. Cover with slices of mozzarella cheese. Spoon your favorite tomato sauce over cheese. Add pepperoni/mushrooms and/or whatever toppings you like. Return to oven and bake for ten minutes until crust is lightly browned. Enjoy. (you might try substituting 1/4 cup of yellow corn meal for 1/4 cup of the bread flour for a different tasting crust.

FRECH BREAD PIZZA
1 LOAF FRENCH BREAD
1/4 LB. GROUND BEEF
PEPPERONI
1/2 C. SPAGHETTI SAUCE
1 C. MOZZARELLA CHEESE
1 C. CHEDDAR CHEESE




CUT LOAF OF BREAD IN HALF LENGTHWISE. SPREAD SPAGHETTI SAUCE EVENLY OVER CUT SLICES OF BREAD. CRUMBLE GROUND BEEF AND PLACE ON TOP OF SPAGHETTI SAUCE. TOP WITH PEPPERONI AND BAKE AT 400 DEGREES FOR 10 TO 15 MINUTES. TOP WITH CHEESE AND RETURN TO OVEN UNTIL CHEESE MELTS.

the best thing about this easy to make pizza is that it requires NO YEAST or eggs. I have never done pizza from scratch before and i love this recipe because it was very easy and tasted great for a beginner like me

2 cups self raising flour
40 g butter
3/4 cup of grated cheddar cheese (i used a mixture of both cheddar and paramesan)
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup tomatoes (squashed in the blender)
1 medium onion, cut in very small pieces
100 g salami
1/2 cup of diced black olives
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
salt

1.heat oven.
2.grease tray and put foil in the base and sides (i don't know why but i do it).
3.mix the butter and cheddar cheese for 30 sec in blender add the milk and mix for another 30 sec.
4.place some flour on a clean surface then place dough on it and knead make it into a rectangle and place on the tray.
5.i use 2 table spoons of tomato paste with the squashed tomatoes to give it texture.
6.add the onions, olives & the salami (i used tuna instead and it was even better.
7.add the cheese (the mix of cheddar and paramesan).
8.put in oven for 30 minute.

INGREDIENTS:

* 1 (12 inch) pre-baked pizza crust
* 1 (7 ounce) jar peanut sauce
* 1/4 cup peanut butter
* 8 ounces cooked skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut into strips
* 1 cup shredded Italian cheese blend
* 1 bunch green onions, chopped
* 1/2 cup fresh bean sprouts (optional)
* 1/2 cup shredded carrot (optional)
* 1 tablespoon chopped roasted peanuts (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2. In a small bowl, stir together the peanut sauce and peanut butter. Spread over the pizza crust. Arrange strips of chicken on top. Sprinkle on the green onions and cheese.
3. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, until cheese is melted and bubbly. Top with bean sprouts, carrot shreds and peanuts, if using. Slice into wedges and serve.


Pizza Dough I


INGREDIENTS:

* 3 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 tablespoon white sugar
* 1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)

DIRECTIONS:

1. Combine flour, salt, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl. Mix in oil and warm water. Spread out on a large pizza pan. Top as desired.
2. Bake at 375 degrees C (190 degrees C) for 20 to 25 minutes.



Black and White Pizza


INGREDIENTS:

* 1 (12 inch) pre-baked pizza crust
* 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
* 1 cup prepared Alfredo sauce
* 1/2 clove garlic, minced
* 1 (6 ounce) package frozen ready to eat chicken breast strips, thawed
* 1/2 cup canned black beans, drained
* 1 (6 ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese
* 1 (4 ounce) can sliced jalapeno peppers
* 1 teaspoon dried parsley

DIRECTIONS:

1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-low heat. Add garlic, and cook just until fragrant. Add chicken strips, and cook until heated through.
3. Spread Alfredo sauce over the pizza crust, and sprinkle on some of the shredded cheese. Arrange chicken strips and garlic over the cheese, and put on as many black beans as you like. Place jalapeno slices on top, then cover with remaining cheese. Garnish with a sprinkle of dried parsley flakes.
4. Place pizza directly on the oven rack. Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until crust is crispy and cheese is melted.
