OK, as part of my blending adventures I discovered how to make the best tasting homemade soup EVER. And it's so EASY.

1. Take a can of green peas and dump it in the blender.
2. Take several fresh carrot sticks, break them into small pieces so your machine does not break, and dump them in the blender.
3. Take two or three slices of Kraft "sharp" American cheese, tear them up and throw them in the blender.
4. Add a lot of spices to the blender. LOTS. I used Mrs. Dash tomato-basic-garlic. Remember, LOTS.
5. Add some milk to the blender. Not too much, you want a thick soup. You can always add more later.
6. Blend. Start with an ice crushing cycle to crush those carrots, and then switch to puree or cream. Blend the stuff for a couple of minutes, until smooth.
7. Pour the goop into a bowl and microwave until nice and hot.

THIS STUFF ROCKS. Way better than Campbells. Call it Homemade Cream of Carrot and Pea Soup, and amaze your friends. Better yet, amaze your tastebuds.

Answers:
Sounds like split pea soup with cheese. I like to use canned veggies too for some soups - you don't have to cook them for near as long. Canned tomatoes add great flavor to any veggie soup-juice and all.

Other Answers:
I like to use fresh vegetables more than canned ones. The canned vegetables have lost some nutrients when they were cooked by the food companies.

sounds yummy but don't the carrots add a crunch when everything else is soft it would be weird eating it like getting a bone in chicken noodle soup not normal but ill try anything once This sounds really yummy! Thanks for sharing!
