Answers:
there are too many choices for me to list, so just go to www.cooks.com and put in german foods

Other Answers:
Depends on what you want to make, there is Schnitzel, witch is made with pork, chicken or veal meat, and you have a choice of sauces you can put on top of them, such as Gypsy, or Hunter sauce. Also you can make bratwurst with sauerkraut on a bun. Another one is Reibelkucken which is a type of potatoe pancake served with applekraut. Or Rouladen, beef meat rolled with pickle, mustard, bacon and onions, fried then baked in the oven with gravy. If you would like any of these recipes contact me via yahoo messenger. These recipes on www.cooks.com are not authentic german recipes, for example; German chocolate rice krispie squares, they don't even sell marshmellows here in Germany, all these recipes have been made up and called German
1/2 stick of butter (not margerine)
2 cubed potatos
1 meduim onion, minced
1 jar of saurkraut, drained but not rinsed
salt/pepper/caraways seeds (optional)
Flour for dusting (you can season if you want)

Boil the potos, cool and smash. While those are cooking melt onion and saute onions until soft and add the saurkraut to warm thru and get the butter in it....use seasonings. When it is cool add potatos and mix well, then form balls, about 1 inch. Roll balls in four and brown until crispy in a bit of veg oil. You could also bake them for 45 minutes and they will crisp up.

Dip in horseradish sauce.

Good Luck!!
