Answers:
A little known fact about the haggis is its aquatic ability - you would think that with three legs of differing lengths, the poor wee beastie wouldn't be very good at swimming, but as some of the Scottish hillsides have rather spectacular lakes on them, over the years, the haggis has learned to swim very well. When in water, it uses its vestigial wings to propel itself forward, and this it can do at a very reasonable speed.

You're kidding, right?

haggis is not an animal. Haggis is made out of sheep and I think pig intestines and other nasty ingredients. It is made up into a sausage like product! CHECK UNDER THE NEAREST SPORRAN !!
BEWARE O; THE HAIRY CABER !

Haggis is on sale everywhere - at the airport and in tourist shops, including special small ones.

You don't need to hunt them.

But if you do, remember you can't buy a haggis trap without a haggis hunting license. You can buy haggis hunting licenses at main post offices in Scotland.

haggis: A Scottish dish consisting of a mixture of the minced heart, lungs, and liver of a sheep or calf mixed with suet, onions, oatmeal, and seasonings and boiled in the stomach of the slaughtered animal.

Haggis hurling:
Haggis hurling is a Scottish sport involving the hurling of a haggis as far as possible for distance and accuracy from atop a platform (usually a whisky barrel). The Haggis must be edible.

Rules & Regulations
The haggis must be of traditional construction. ***Tender boiled sheep's heart, lung and liver with spices, onions, suet and oatmeal and stock stuffed in a sheep's paunch. Boiled for three hours.***

At the time of hurling the haggis should be cooled and inspected to ensure no firming agents have been applied.

www.answers.com and wikipedia You don't trap the haggis you hunt it in the traditional manner ...

Due to it having shorter legs on the left than on the right (so it can run around hills) you just need to lie in wait until one comes along and scare it. The haggis will turn and run the other way which will obviously cause it to roll down the hill (as the long legs will now be on the higher part of the slope). Your friend simply 'nets' the haggis in the traditional way.

Enjoy
