why not 10 rolls per pgk like the dogs?
Answers:
they want you to spend more money, either by buying my hot dogs then you need, or more buns than you need
Other Answers:
The only packs of hotdogs i have ever gotten are ones that come in 8 packs, like the buns. But maybe they make 10 packs of hotdogs because husbands (like mine), like to eat the hotdog before it ever reaches the bun!...lol. Or maybe they think youll drop one on the floor or your dog will sneak one,.

I think this question doesn't have a answer....Next question
Hot dogs come in packs of 12 or 8... The buns usually come in packs of 8...
they are made by diferrent companies
That is so aggravating to me. Consumers like us will buy the extra pack so everyone has a bun and dog.

Been there
they are trying to get you to spend more money. if you buy six buns you need to buy another pack and it will cost more.

Thinking just about hotdogs, not all come 10 to a pack but of course lets not confuse them with Franks. ;-)
Commercially sold hotdogs and franks are usually sold as portions per pound. So for example a 2oz dog would be 8 per pound. I have been known to get 4oz franks so there would be 4 per pound.
There is no real answer. I say that because meats and breads are sold by weight thus affecting pricing and or price points in the local supermarket. A products count can get overlooked when that happens.
I'd have to say its either just a way to mess with consumers, or it is a marketing plot to get consumers to purchase large amounts of both hot dogs and buns to get an equal amount. For example, if you bought your buns in the 6 pack, you'd need to get 10 packs of buns and 6 packs of dogs. If in sets of 8, it'd take 5 packs of buns and 4 packs of dogs, and if in a 12 pack you'd need 5 packs of buns and 6 packs of dogs.
I have only ever seen hotdogs AND buns both in packs of 8, except for maybe at Sam's or another bulk-wholesale store. But you're better off buying the 12 buns and throwing away 2 than having to buy extra hotdogs, unless you need them. Bread is way cheaper than the hotdogs.
its a scam
So you have to buy either 30, 40, 60, 80 or 120 sets...
It's marketing, if it never comes out even, you have to keep buying!
