Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(how do i make beef jerky without a dehydrate ?),it will help you,my kids.
Answers:
hang it out in the sun for about a week but make shore it is covered with a net to keep bugs off and in a place where animals can not get to it. that is the best way because it will have the best flavor.
Other Answers:
w/o a dehydrator?
In the summer you can put it in a hot attic with a fan...
some ovens will have a very low setting.
And you can make your own dehydrator if you're handy, using 1/4 " mesh screens in a vented box, with light bulbs mounted in the bottom for heat...
Maybe you could use a wide glass topped box with a small fan as a solar dryer... but screen out the bugs.

place the beef directly on your oven racks..on the lowest setting..depending on what type of meat you are using, but the norm is about 5-6 hours...make sure to put tin foil in the bottom of your oven, it makes a big mess.....good luck! Any of the above instructions will work or you could do it the way the indians did it and hang it from a rope in a warm dry place for about a week
