If you already have one and its old or used I do not recommed you use it. Pressure Cookers are very dangerous if not used and maintained properly.
The Food Network site gives reviews of pressure cookers. Alton Brown on this site has a nice safe pressure cooker he uses. It's not cheap but very safe.
Please, for yours and your families safety, research and buy a new Pressure Cooker and maintain it properly. You will have years of quick and safe cooking.

for rice for example, you put it in, add water until the difference between water level and rice level is to the first line on your middle finger, and then close and cook until it whistles
dif stuff is cooked differently tho so please specify

basic instruction is to seal the lid, bring to a boil, cap off the pressure, turn heat down and let cook for length of time depending on what you are cooking. I've included a good resource website for pressure cooking. I use mine at least 2-3 times a week!
