I've tried many fudge recipes and this is one is the best!
Mamie Eisenhower's Million Dollar Fudge

4 1/2 cups sugar
pinch of salt
2 tbsp butter
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
2 cups coarse chopped pecans or walnuts
1 pint (1 jar) marshmellow cream
12 ounces semisweet chocolate
12 ounces German's Sweet chocolate

In heavy saucepan over medium heat, bring the sugar, salt, butter, and evaporated milk to a boil. Boil for 6 minutes.

Meanwhile, place the pecans, marshmallow fluff and chocolate in a large bowl. Pour the boiled syrup over the chocolate mixture. Beat until chocolate is all melted.

Spray a 15 1/2 by 10 1/2 by 1 inch jelly roll pan with a nonstick cooking spray and pour fudge into pan. Let it harden at room temperature before cutting into 1 inch squares (can be placed in the refrigerator or freezer to speed hardening process).

Look on the back of the marshmallow creme jar. jet puffed is the brand I believe. This makes No-Fail Fudge that is incredibly easy and good. We make this recipe every Christmas and spoon it onto wax paper and then press a pecan halve onto the top of about half of them. They are GREAT
4 1/2 c, sugar
1 (13 oz.) can condensed milk
Boil, stirring constantly, for 7 minutes after it comes to a boil. Remove from heat and add 1 (8 oz.) jar marchmallow creme, 2 sticks butter, 2 tsp. vanilla, and 3 (6oz) bags of chocolate chips. Stir until well blended. Add nuts, if desired. Pour onto a large greased cookie sheet. Then cool.
