Answers:
12 to 20 min - each side - depending on how 'done' you like it.
Other Answers:
It's pretty easy...add some olive oil, black pepper, and chopped garlic. Throw it on the grill about 8 -12 minutes. Cut a slit in the middle to check to see if it's done. Eat.
same way you would on a a propaine grill.
I put a seasoned rub first, put on pre heated grill, 4 mins, on each side, great. Serve with a mixed green salad, roasted garlic potato.
Fire the grill up, oil the grill surface down before placing the steak on it. Wait five minutes. Then grill on high heat for about 6-8 minutes per side, turning it once halfway through the side to get the cross-hatch effect.
Rib-eyes have plenty of natural oil so you've gotta stay close to make sure you don't get any fat fires. If you do, move it to another part of the grill surface.
over low heat for about 15 min each side
First, tenderize the steak by poking fork holes in it. Shake on salt, pepper and garlin powder to taste. Heat the rill to high. Lay the steak on the grill just long enough to sear it. Lower the gas and flip the steak. Let the steak cook to desired doneness. It is done to medium when the steak feels like your hand when you poke it.
Serve it with some steak sauce, sliced onions and tomatoes, corn on the cob and a nice green salad.
well first you marinate it...perferabbly over night in something yummy like beer, or you can buy premade ones.....then you get your grill warmed up to about medium......cook for about 7 minutes each side if you like it still kickin......

....a duck once told me. LOL
The same way you would as on a char-coal grill.
Let the grill get very hot (On High). Put the steak on for one minute, flip and turn the grill down to medium low. After five minutes flip and wait four to five minutes.....done.
This sears the steak keeping the juices in.
i pepper my steak, maybe a dash of salt. Fire up the grill good and hot. Usually, for times sake, i butterfly my steak. I cook it a minute or two each side.
I'd eat a cow if it would stand still, so you'd have to cook it longer if you like it more done.
Also, steak marinaded in balsamic vinigar of modera is wonderful. peppered of course once its ready for fire.
mmmm yummy.
