Answers:
use olive oil

Other Answers:
Preheat the pan first, then add the oil, this reduces sticking.

I start with higher heat to brown each side, then reduce heat to cook the inside without burning.

How long you cook it depends on how thick the steak is, and how well-done you like it. This is not an exact science :-))

You have to experiment. Keep your eye on it, and make a small slit in the steak after a few minutes, to check doneness.

Do not salt the meat before cooking, this will make it tough. Salt AFTER it's cooked.
First wrap bacon around the edges of the steak so that they don't burn and you don't need oil for this because the meat has its own juices and won't stick to the pan. Broil on each side for 9-12 min depending on thikness of the steak and how you like your meat.(well done)I hope this helps.Your steak will be teder and juicy if you do it this way.
Use high heat to brown both sides. Then move to heated oven to finish. Season beef prior to cooking. A couple of good pounds by a mallet should ensure tenderness.
meat will release from the pan on its own when its time to turn it. If you burn the meat then the fire is too high.
just spray some oil (a tiny bit) and the meat will cook itself cz it already has grease in it.
