Answers:
No, don't boil them! Here's a 3 step seasoning process which yields tender beef or pork ribs. Here's what you do:

1: Marinate them in italian dressing overnight.
2. The next day, remove from marinade and use a bbq dry rub to season them.
3. Cook them on the grill on very low heat, slow cooking them and turning as infrequently as possible. (turning too much makes them tough)
4. A minute or two before they are done, brush on your favorite bbq sauce.

I guarantee these will be the best ribs you ever had!
From the rib capitol of the USA!

Other Answers:
Yes, so they won't be so tough. Then grill them.

You could or try placing them in a large flat baking dish in the oven with a bit of water, cover with foil and leave on low temperature (around 200) for four to six hours. Yeah if you don't boil them they will be too hard to eat. Boil then grill or bake.........yummy

my grandmother does and she's the best cook I know!

Yes, that way they won't be as tough, and then you can grill them.

yes, lightly boil them for two hour's or so. season the ribs with cavendar's greek seasoning. lightly baste with sweet baby rays barbecue sauce or whatever you like. I had never thought of boiling them, but that is a good idea. My problem is:where do you get beef ribs that still have some meat on them. I can't even get the butchers to cut me any. They want to make ribeye out of it all.
