Homemade Pizza
Ingredients:
Dough:
1 tablespoon dry yeast
1 1/2 cups warm water (105-115F)
3 1/2 cups white flour OR
1 1/2 cups white flour AND 2
cups whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
Sauce:
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 2-pound can whole or crushed tomatoes
3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
Dough:
Prepare the dough at least two hours before you assemble the pizzas.
Mix yeast and water in a large bowl; place in warm spot for about five minutes. Sift flour and salt into the yeast. Mix well, then add olive oil and form a soft ball. Knead on floured surface until soft and elastic (about five minutes). Shape into ball and place in a lightly oiled bowl. Cover with a clean towel and place in a warm spot for about one hour. Punch down dough and reshape into ball. Cover and let sit another 20 minutes, or until it rises again. Punch down again. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Sauce
Pour olive oil into large skillet and place over medium heat. Add tomatoes to the warm olive oil with the remaining ingredients, crushing whole tomatoes with your hands as you add them to the pan. Cook over medium-low heat, breaking up tomatoes with wooden spoon, until the sauce is thick, 40-50 minutes.
Putting it all together
Roll out the dough and place on cookie sheets or pizza pans sprinkled with cornmeal. There is enough dough for two large thin crust pizzas. Pinch a lip along the edges. Top with sauce, cheese and your choice of pizza toppings, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with basil. Bake in 450F oven for 12 minutes.
We make this pizza with a thin wheat crust, which is crisp and slightly nutty sweet after baking, but with this recipe you can make the crust according to your preference. Our favorite toppings include caramelized onions, sliced tomatoes, pepperoni, spinach and freshly grated mozzarella cheese (packaged grated cheese is fine, of course, but just doesn't seem the same to us). When this pizza is hot and fresh out of the oven, there is not a store-made pizza that can compare. What we especially like about it the fact that it is hardly greasy, in spite of (or due to) all of the olive oil we use in the recipe.
Other Answers:
In a small bowl, sprinkle the yeast on the warm water, and stir to dissolve it. Set aside until the yeast starts forming bubbles in about 5 minutes.

Hmm. Go on the internet or buy a cookbook! If you buy pizza crust, it will probably have a recipe
look at a recipy in a cookbook.
You can make pizza crust out of biscuit dough. Spread the biscuit dough out into a round shape, put sauce on it, cheese, and whatever toppings you want, and bake in the oven at 450 degrees for 12 minutes.
I buy the packages of dough mix. You just mix it with water and then set it on the stove to warm up a bit. Then I add my own differnt toppings and sauces. Bake around 350 until it's bubbling.
You buy dough at the Supermarket, spread it across a pan, and add pizza sauce, (all around, except for the very edges)then add cheese, (you might want to use mozzarella cheese) and another toppings that suit your fancy. put it in the oven, and there you have it.
well u 1.u go by dough or pizza crust.
2. and get pep then sauce and chesse
3.and put it the oven
Easiest method! Really. Try the boxed pizza made from Chef Boyardee in the red box on the spaghetti sauce isle. It has the dough(however it is dry and you must mix it with water & oil); sauce; and Parmesan cheese. This is great because you can add any toppings that you wish. You also need to buy mozzarella cheese to put on top, as because the cheese that is in the box is not enough! But I promise you that this is the most SIMPLE and delicious way to make homeade pizza. It is also really fast!

also my own experience!
I have a couple of different pizzas I make at home, they are kind of different than what you would expect and they are both individual servings. This is good for picky people who only like certain things on their pizzas.
FIRST STYLE:
Toast an english muffin.
Spread whatever kind of pizza sauce you like on it. I get the pizza squeeze because it's convienent and it is resealable.
Then I put green olives, mushrooms, pizza seasonings, and shredded cheese on there. You got to put the cheese on the top so that it will make the rest of the ingredients stick.
Then I broil it on the top shelf of the oven until the cheese is melted, and nicely browned.
SECOND STYLE:
I buy the smaller wheat Pita Breads and use those as the crust.
Mix tomato paste with oregano and garlic salt. (as much as you like) Smear that on the pita.
Then I put things on it like avacado, zuccini slices, mushroom, parsley (gives it a nice flavor.).
You can put whatever you like on it really.
Then stick it in the oven for at least 10 minutes at 350 degrees. I like mine in longer because I like the crust crispy.
I hope you enjoy these recipes.

my own creations.
buy lunchable pizzas it is cool and yummy
Yes, I use a Boboli wheat crust which is ready-made at the grocery store. It is healthier and tastes quite good. Then I put whatever veggies/toppings I want onto it.
reteach007 has the same answer as me. I have used toasted english muffins for years for a quick snack. Add the cheese and put them under the broiler until cheese is melted. Best thing about this is I do not over eat pizza. Usually, if there is a whole pizza, I will have more than I need.
