Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(how to use a double boiler for melting chocolate?),it will help you,my kids.
Answers:
Fill bottom pot with water. Boil. Place chocolate in top pot and place on bottom pot. Chocolate will melt.
Other Answers:
you don't need to
you put water in the bottom boiler and pit your chocolate in the top boiler. bring to a boil. stir chocolate. you dont have to use this method but it will keep your chocolate from burning
You need a large pot, fill it with water, put it over the stove, and put a smaller pot/container within it. The chocolate will go into the smaller pot or container.
The point of double boiling is so that the chocolate does not come into direct heat.
Put water in the bottom and bring it to a boil. Then you turn the heat down and put the chocolate inside the top of the pan and place it over the steaming water. Chocolate should be melted over indirect heat to be done properly.
Direct heat could burn it very easily and ruin it.
Use your microwave to melt your chocolate. 1 minute at a time until melted. Try it!
the answer about the microwave is the best. And I'll tell you why... If any water or condensation/ steam gets in your choc. It will seize up and its no more good. do as said microwave 1 min. at a time until melted.
