okay, first you gotta kill em...break his neck preferably...then submerge em in boiling water to help loosen the feathers....you gotta pluck em then....you gotta gut em...from the beak to the butt...then you wash em up nice and clean...season em with some Lawry's seasoning salt...a lil onion & garlic powder...you can flour em and fry em or....wrap his carcas in some aluminum foil and bake em at 350 degrees for an hour and a half....the meat will be falling off the bone....MMmmm...Rooster ...recipe compliments of my Gramma Sarah.
