Kitty said: Yes.i'm going to make cupcakes but the recipe asks for butter can i use margarin-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(i'm going to make cupcakes but the recipe asks for butter can i use margarin),it will help you,my kids.
Answers:
You can substitute butter for margerine and vice versa, but some professional bakers prefer real butter, claiming a more pure butter flavor and better consistency than the hydrogenated vegetable oils of margerine. Plus, even though you're making cupcakes and probably don't care as much about health benefits, there is some research that points toward the trans fatty acids of margerine as possible carcinogens, since they've been artificially made into to saturated fats in order to be solid at room temperature... but if the cupcakes are for someone else and won't be consumed by your family or loved ones, go ahead with the margerine if that's what you've got *grin*
Other Answers:

Yes you can use margarine.
You can, but margarine is awfull. You can put it out on a sidewalk, and bugs won't eat it. It is like plastic. Use real butter, or a different butter substitute.Of course you can yes
