will it be all watery? and if you have one of dispal pans w/ the lid do u cook w/ the lid on

Answers:
Yes it is OK.

As long as the meat (if used) is drained thoroughly, it should not be watery. If, before you bake it the next day, you notice any water, keep it in the oven a little bit longer with the cover on.

Either way, use the lid until the last 10-15 minutes, uncover it to brown the cheese on top. disposable lids are a great insulator and will keep moisture in, but prevent browning.

Hope that helps! Would also be interested in getting the recipe from you if its a good one!

Other Answers:
Nope, it will be fine.

No, it'll be perfectly fine. Most restuarants actually premake food before serving it. That's how they get your food out to you so fast. Don't cook with a lid on, just some aluminium foil will be fine. I should be fine.

The excess watery-ness will just cook off. Bake the lasagna without the lid; if it starts getting too brown, tent it loosely with foil.

What I do is fry the beef and everything and put it together in the pan. I then cover it with tin foil and put it in the fridge. Then when it's time to serve, I put it in the oven and cook it fully. It doesn't get watery, it's perfect. I don't know what a dispal pan is but lasagna should be covered. If you want the cheese browned you can take the lid off for the last 5 minutes and broil it. I hope this helps.

I agree... night before = good! I think it would be ok to prepare it the day before. I have done it in the morning and not made it until night and it was fine. Do not leave the plastic cover on, use aluminum foil.

i would prepare it and then freeze. and then when you want to cook it let it set out for a while, if you don't the pan is going from extreme cold to extreme hot and the pan will crack. so let the pan get somewhat close to room temperature. but just cover it with tinfoil and it won't be watery or anything. hope that helps

it will be better! gives the seasoning a chance to mix in with the sauce mmmmmmm yummy

it will be fine. just be sure to cook it on a cookie sheet, so that when it overflows, and it will, it catches the spills. better yet, put foil on the cookie sheet and just throw it away! no clean up at all Cook it with the lid off. If you have the sauce hot and you put it over the noodles and put it in the fridge over night, you don't even have to cook the noodles first! I swear it works. I make mine that way every time. If you don't trust me, though (and that's okay), lay your noodles on paper towels before you layer your lasagna. That should keep it from getting watery.

Actually ALL PASTA dishes TASTE EXCEEDINGLY BETTER if they are cooked a day early then reheated IN THE OVEN on day to be served..So better cooked night prior to planned dinner

Try it you will be happily surprised!!! I guarantee it!

lettin it sit overnight makes it taste better...flavors blend together.always make it nite befer........ it should be fine

I'm assuming that you cooked the meat BEFORE layering with the pasta, bechamelle and tomatoes. Yes it will be fine.

it'll be fine

It should be fine left in the fridge over night. If you take it our of the fridge about an hour before you bake it, it wont take as long in the oven.

You should start baking your lasagna covered with foil. Do not put the plastic or cardboad lid in the oven. Uncover your lasagna about 3/4 of the way thru the baking process to let it brown a bit.
