but i have heard that its not advisable for the voys to take it.As long as they were cut opened and cleaned before they were cooked they should be fine. If you eat giblet gravy of your turkey it has kidneys and gizzards in it. If you eat hotdogs they have far worse things then kidneys in them. Safe and very nutritious.
Of course it is safe... Asians eat it... It is very common in asia.. It is not really a delicacy... But make sure it is throughly cooked... with a dash of sesame oil and light soya sauce and you dip it with garlic chilli will make it taste great.
