Here are some friends with simlar question as we.And I have this question for many days,anyone help us?

Answers:
No it doesn't, it is dependent upon the container which is been heated and the amount of water, if the water is hot the water would then cool down and the container who heat up to reach a point where they are the same temp. water boils at 100f. that's just like saying if we had to run 100 meter race and u started at the start line and i started at a point 30 meters away from the finish line(assuming we are equal in every way). The less water you have the quicker it heats up the more you have the more time it will take.

i don't know but hot water freezes quicker than cold water.
