Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(is it true that foods with msg (monosodium glutamate) unhealthy for young ones e),it will help you,my kids.
Answers:
It's probably not the best thing, and the fewer additives the better, but I don't think it is "unhealthy" for them. Many ppl do report headaches associated w/ MSG intake.
Other Answers:
The middle part of MSG is SODIUM. If you have high blood pressure, it's bad for you. If you are still in your developmental stage (ie a baby, child or adolescent), it could predispose you to high blood pressure. Aside from that, because it is a salt, it will make you retain water, which is never attractive.
Some people are allergic. I used to work for a guy who got extremely sleepy if he had anything with MSG. We exploited that by taking him out for Chinese on Fridays so we could leave early.
Hi,
MSG can cause elevated blood pressure & severe migraines in
children esp under 12 months. What are you feeding an infant that has MSG in it anyway? MSG is a preservative & why would you want to feed your child that anyway?
MSG is bad for the whole family, not just kids.

I wouldnt suggest giving it to young ones because so many people get sick from it and it isnt healty at all
Definitely. It gives some people headaches (it's called "Chinese Restaurant Syndrome, because most people only used to eat MSG in Chinese restaurants; today, it's used *everywhere*!), but even if you're not one of them, it is *not* healthy.
MSG is a flavor enhancer made of 2 amino acids--glutamic acid and glutamine. They are needed by the nervous system. However, MSG contains such high amounts that they actually can damage nerves. Babies and young children--whose nervous system is still developing (up to about age 10)--are at highest risk.
