Answers:
I am not a vegetarian, so I do not answer in that context.

Your reasoning is a very dangerous one, and it points out the problems with some vegetarian reasoning: Meat is muscle flesh. We have muscle flesh. So if you are not to distinguish on some other basis, you are either advocating cannibalism or bolstering the vegetarian position.

It is significant to separate meat animals from non-meat animals, especially since, as I have pointed out, we are eligible for the latter category ourselves.

If you've ever lived on a farm, perhaps you have heard the advice that a farmer should never call meat animals by pet names. Who wants to have a dinner composed of your friend Oglethorpe? We do not eat dog or cat or horse meat (though some other cultures do) because they are our pets, our friends, and we give them individual names.

Still, it is clear that we are authorized by Nature and Nature's God to eat meat. What meat we eat is almost entirely raised for that purpose, and fed and cared for in an impersonal but physically advantageous way, to maximize the quality of the meat they provide. Those who are good hunters and have venison steaks on occasion are a small part of the modern western world's population.

It is terribly dangerous to anthropomorphize animals. We then start attributing human traits to them, and animal traits to ourselves. Yes, we are animals in the sense that we are not vegetables nor minerals, but that's as far as it goes. We have individual souls, and meat animals do not. We also have a metabolism evolved over thousands of years that requires substantial protein to maintain brain function, let alone all the other functions. Put simply, we need meat, and vegetarians are always at risk for inadequate protein.

Still, I agree with the sentiment of my old room-mate, who said she would be glad to go on a vegetarian diet, if only she could get a vegetarian to volunteer!

they are not made of meat u dumby u grow them u must be a natural blonde

Animals are not made of meat they are made of animal, the same as you are made of human not meat!

But vegetables are made of vegetable so I can eat them.

Hope that makes it a bit clearer for you. Ermm... Let's see. I'm a mammal. So's a cow. Cow's are herbivores. I'm a herbivore. I choose to be. The cow doesn't. We're both living breathing animals. (meat included). The tiger is also a mammal. Eats meat. By choice, or design? Are you suggesting that animals were 'provided' for us to eat therefore we must? Not sure I follow your question. All I can say is as far as human beings are concerned surely it's a matter of personal choice. I appreciate that some of us have more freedom to choose than others (economic reasons, availability, cultural influences). I have encountered many people who have become almost angry on learning I'm a vegetarian. They seem to take it as an insult. How what I choose to eat should effect another person I do not understand. Hope this helps.
