DIRECTIONS:
Cook rice as directed on box.
Saute onions in margarine until done.
Cook broccoli as directed on package and drain.
Mix together broccoli, soup, rice, onion, butter or margarine, and cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Place in a 9 by 13 inch oven proof dish.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

We call it Green Rice.
I use one box of instant rice cooked, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, one jar of cheese whiz. salt and pepper to taste.
I saute broccoli and onion in butter.
I mix it all up and pour it in a pan and bake it.

2 cups cooked MINUTE White Rice
1 can (10-3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup

1/2 cup fresh bread cubes
PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Cook and stir onion in 1 Tbsp. of the butter in large skillet on medium heat until tender.
ADD rice, soup, broccoli and CHEEZ WHIZ; mix lightly. Spoon into 1-1/2-quart casserole. Toss together remaining 1 Tbsp. butter, melted, and bread cubes; sprinkle over casserole.
BAKE 30 to 35 minutes or until heated through.

My recipe is similar to susieQ but I use 8 oz Velvetta cheese instead of jar cheese. I also saute 1/4 cup finely diced celery with the onions.
