Answer:
For PuertoRican Beans this is what you do
First of all if you want to make Fresh beans you will need a bag of dry Beans rinse them out and then put them in a pot cover them with water and boil them un til you are able to smooch one with a spoon ( as the water keeps evaporating keep adding more)
If you are using canned beans then you just have to rinse them and put them in the pot you don't have to wait a couple of hours for them to get soft cause they already are.
Once your beans are ready you want to add some cut up potatoes about 2 cups of water 1/2 a can of salsa de Tomate, 2 Tablespoons of Sofrito, 1 packet of Sazon,Some chopped up Recaito and Cilantro and some diced up cooking ham. And that is Pretty much it just cook it until the bean Juice gets thick and the Potatoes are fully cooked.
For The beef Strips
After you cut up the Peppers and the beef strips I would season it with some Adobo, Sazon, Garlic powder, Oil and Vinegar season it to your taste of course then I would let it all cook in the Pan .
It is all very simple if you have anymore questions just email me ok.

PUERTO RICAN BEANS AND RICE

1/2 c. diced salt pork (about 2 oz.)
1 lg. onion, diced
1 lg. green pepper, diced
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 1/2 tsp. salt

4 c. hot cooked rice
About 3 hours before serving:
1. Rinse beans with running cold water and discard any stones or shriveled beans. In 5 quart Dutch oven over high heat, heat beans and 6 cups water to boiling; cook 3 minutes. Remove Dutch oven from heat; cover and let stand 1 hour. Drain and rinse beans.
2. Return beans to Dutch oven. Add 3 cups water; over high heat; heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover Dutch oven and simmer 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Meanwhile, in 10" skillet over medium heat, cook salt pork until well browned, about 10 minutes. Add onion and green pepper; cook until tender, stirring occasionally. Stir onion mixture, tomato sauce, salt, oregano, garlic powder, and pepper into beans; cook 40 to 50 minutes, until beans are tender and mix thickens. Serve mixture spooned over rice. Makes 6 main dish servings
Don't forget to add the spices.Add a packet of Sazon to the rice when cooking.Add a tablespoon or so of powdered Adobo to the meat and veggies when cooking. Before serving the rice, add a half a jar of Sofrito to the hot rice and mix. These spicing products are all available in the Spanish food section of larger grocery stores.I'm not plugging any certain brand, but Goya makes all of them.Check out their web site at Goya Foods, and you can see pictures of the items, and they have recipes too.
