can you buy it from safeway or coles?
what kind of meat do they use in sushi?
i have the maronade..
just need the right chicken...
Answer:
Since you have the marinade, just buy some regular chicken and you're good to go.
As for sushi, there's a number of things that are used to make it. And contrary to popular belief, not all sushi is raw. Tuna, salmon, and some other types of fish are, indeed, used raw to make sushi. But things like squid, octopus, eel, and crab are cooked before they are used to make sushi.
Chicken and marinade is what makes the dish.
Slice fresh chicken breast into 1/2 inch strips soak it overnight.
I use chicken breast or thigh parts
Chicken is chicken, terryaki is a sauce
and sushi generally consists of raw fish, marinaded in a pickled rice with seaweed to bind it together
the rice preserved the fish for travel, then some hungry fellow
found out the rice tasted pretty good too.
buy whatever boneless part you like. personally i like thigh.
usually, sushi is made with fish, shellfish and fish eggs like salmon roe. the raw stuff is the best...although i do like eel once in a while...
