Here are some friends with simlar question as we.And I have this question for many days, anyone help us?
Kitty said: Yes.Are there any Indian curries made with Pork?-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Are there any Indian curries made with Pork?),it will help you,my kids.
And how would I make it?
Answer:
As far as my knowledge Indian Resturants donot make pork dishes.
never heard of it or read it on the menu.
Curry refers to a spice mixture, not a particular dish. The curry itself contains no meat, just a mixture of spices which can vary greatly from one geographic location in India to another, or from one chef to another.
Are you asking if you can make pork using curry powder because I don't see why not.
Chef Mark
East Indians are of the Hindu faith, and are complete vegetarians, so no, they would not nor will you find a recipe for curried pork in an Indian cookbook......but there is no reason that you cannot spice pork with curry (I do it all the time), but then again, I'm not a vegetarian......
