I'm not sure about uptown, but downtown is the ever-expanding Little Korea. In the east village around 1st and 7th you can find plenty of restaurants, markets, and stores of a Korean background.
Heaps of them. Check the yellow pages/Switchboard.

Flushing in Queens
Fort Lee in New Jersey
