-Try "anticoochs" they are made of beef heart.
-"Pekah-roh-s" Are like sweet hand made crispy donughts
-"Papa uan-kah-en-a" is potatoe with a delicious cream
-"Ajee de hyena" is rice with some chicken mix that tastes like heaven
If you ever feel like something less exotic, you should try "Pollo a la Brassa" (means BBQ chicken) they serve it with french fries and a salad. But they make the best BBQ chicken in the whole damm world, and these "pollo a la brasa" restuarants are like starbucks here: they are everywhere! The best ones are from a chain called: NORKIS. Write that down, because its the best chicken you will ever have.
You should go to the zoo in Lima. Its called: THE PARK OF ALL LEYENDS. It s a zoo but has ab it of every part in Lima. And mingle with the people in the zoo. The best place to meet poepl(yeah, laught all you want but EVERYONE in my group met someone at the zoo and got laid)
Peruvians are the best, if you are white, you will get laid whether you want to or not. LOL

I've had "americanized" Peruvian cuisine. I'm sure it would fall woefully short of the indigenous cuisine you will soon partake. I envy you.
