yes to both. Escargot are tasteless hard dried little things in a wonderful butter garlic sauce! Frogs legs tastes like dried chicken.

Frog legs are delicious! If you cook them yourself, you must be careful, because when you put them into hot grease, they really do jump...well, twitch, but it's really cool when you cook them for kids for the first time! I say "Look out! They're alive!! They're coming back to get us!!" It's fun, and the meat is really tender and good! It's even better if you are eating legs of frogs you gigged and cleaned yourself! And that, my friend, is All American!!

i haven't tried frog legs yet...but have tried snail...it was at a korean restaurant....didn't kno it was snail until i ate the last one...after the shock wore off, i came to the conclusion that they were gud.

Ingredients :
16xgood sized frog legs
1cupshortening
1/2cupflour
3cupmilk
1tsppaprika
1/2tsponion powder
1/2tspgarlic juice
1/2tspground cayenne pepper
1/4tspfreshly-ground black pepper
1dshfreshly-ground white pepper
1dshoregano
1dshrosemary
Salt to taste
Method :
* Skin, clean and rinse frog legs well. Cover with whole milk and garlic juice in a plastic mixing bowl, refrigerate overnight.
* Pat dry, season with paprika, onion powder, cayenne, black pepper, and desired amount of salt.
* Add white pepper, oregano, and rosemary to the flour. Heat shortening in a skillet. Lightly flour the frog legs and fry until golden brown.
Frog legs are a little fatty for me. I love escargot, but they are a bit of work.
