The food is like anywhere else in the world, there a good restaurants and then there a bad ones. No they are not all halal. If you go to a chinese restaurant, good chance the food is not halal.

not all are halal. but most are. chain restaurants usually have halal stap on the marquee by the indonesian council of ulama (LP POM MUI). but some restaurant sell pork, too. you should watch out and see the entire menu.
