Answer:
PUMPKIN PIE

-3/4 cup pumpkin
-2 tablespoons molasses
-3/4 cup white sugar
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-1 1/2 tablespoons flour
-2 eggs, separated
-milk combined with 1 can of evaporated milk
-1 teaspoon cinnamon
-1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
-2 tablespoons Myers rum
-Pie shell

Method:-

Separate eggs. In a clean bowl beat egg whites only until slightly foamy.
In a measuring cup, add 1 can of evaporated milk. Add regular milk until level in measuring cup reaches 1 1/2 cups total.

In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except egg whites. Beat one minute. Gently fold in egg whites.

Pour into pie shell.

Bake at 425°F for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°F and continue baking for 30 more minutes.

After cooking for years, I have come to this conclusion; You CANNOT make a better pie than you can buy at the supermarket...!

The one at the supermarket costs less when all is considered. It looks better, it tastes better, you don't have to peel or cook the fruit. You don't have to clean up the sticky mess. You don't have to listen to your husband and his friends tell you how their grandma made a better one. You don't have to sweat over a hot stove and you don't have to wait for the pie to cool down before you can eat it...

Thi pumpkin pie recipe is quick and easy, making its own crust as it bakes. Just put canned pumpkin, spices, evaporated milk, sugar, eggs and biscuit baking mix in the blender, process and then pour into a pie plate and bake. No mess, no fuss, just delicious, warm pumpkin pie that's ready in minutes!

* 2 eggs
1-12 oz. can evaporated milk
1-15 oz. can pumpkin
3/4 C. sugar
1/2 C. biscuit baking mix (Bisquick, etc.)
2 T. butter, melted
2 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
2 tsp. vanilla
whipped topping, option

Put all ingredients except whipped topping in blender. Cover and process until smooth. Pour into into a 9" pie plate. The pie pan will be full.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Serve with whipped topping, or ice cream, if desired. Makes 8 servings.

NOTE: This pie makes its own crust as it bakes.

If you don't have allspice, you can substitute 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, and 1/2 tsp. cloves.
