I know I can't I had posted a question about that yesterday because someone sent me a forward with all these pictures from start to finish of women skinning rats and boiling them for dinner, and at the end they showed the finished product witch looked exactly like the meat you see in your local chinease restaurant, but someone from china responded and said its not true and that maybe they do that in Japan but not China.
If you don't know what it is, you probably wouldn't notice... so just don't think about it and eat what tastes good.

I don't I end up feeding it to my dog a [rat-weiler ]
You would be surprised what you would eat if hungry enough but to eat it on purpose is insane.

first of all who are THOSE PEOPLE? and its not the truth here in america restaurants if it is like u say i would say we all stomach it pretty well wouldnt you?thye are all still in business
you do what you have to do to survive. if it means eating a rat, dog, cat or roach it doesn't matter you do it to survive. I've been to the places and seen things that shouldn't be but they are you have two choices survive or die and you will do whatever it takes to see the next sunrise

Not talking of sewer Rats. But I have eaten field mice in Northern Thailand, specifically in the Golden Triangle where the Drug Lords are.. During harvest time, there are plenty of this. We drown them in rice wine or Thai Mekong Whiskey, and swallow them wrapped in pickled mustard leaves. I have also eaten Water Buffalo stomach seasoned with bile from the pancreas and garnished with lots of fragrant wild flowers. When stomach + bile is cooked with lots of pepper and ginger, the result is an out-of-this-world stew.
When in Rome, do as the Romans do. What's the difference between cows, water buffalos and dogs? The people from Ecuador and Peru eat cute guinea-pigs.
