Here are some friends with simlar question as we.And I have this question for many days,anyone help us?

The rice is made with vinegar and placed in a small pocket. I am not sure if it is a tofu pocket or if the pocket has to be fried.

The vinegar could be sweet or tangy. And sometimes a plum is put in the center.

Here's an easy recipe you may want to try:

INGREDIENTS:
6 abura-age (fried tofu)
4 cups sushi rice *rice and sweet vinegar mixture
1/2 cup dashi soup stock
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp mirin
3 tbsp soy sauce
PREPARATION:
Put abura-age into boiling water for a moment and drain well. Cut the abura-age in half so that each piece have an open end. Put dashi soup stock, sugar, mirin, and soy sauce in a pan and bring to a boil. Add abura-age pieces to the pan and lower the heat. Put a lid over the pan and simmer for 15 minutes. Take out the abura-age into a plate and lightly press to remove the liquid. Shape into small sized ovals and press into an abura-age pocket. Fold in the open side to close the pocket.
*Makes 12 pieces

I live in Japan and I make inarizushi often. I like bits of veggies and sesame seeds mixed in my rice too. Shitake mushrooms, carrots, beans... It's delicious!

Mix with Japanese rice that has been stirred with Marukan Seasoned Rice Vinegar(to taste) allowing the rice to cool.You can added pickled ginger in the mix and place all vegetable contents in the soybean curd bags.Plate, eat. It is originally Japanese cuisine. Make it all the time for mom. You can find everything you need at the oriental market.
