It will hold in the frig for a day before becoming cloudy. The lime juice should keep the avocado fresh looking. If not, just refresh with new slices right before serving.
just get the Frontera chipotle kind
its $4 and better than anything else you could make
Add little vinegar or lime/lemon juice and refrigerate.
Make sure it has lime juice in it, put it in an airtight container and refrigerate.
It's the air that will turn the avocado brown.
With anything that is made with fresh ingredients the shelf life is never very long. With a pico de gallo, it will eventually start to go soft, I would keep in the airtight container for 3 or 4 days, then based on the look and smell I may or may not keep it.
refrigerate in a tight container also helps if you spoon out what you want to use instead of touching the whole thing and putting it back,keeps germs low and it will keep longer.
