Check the ingredients before you buy it.
Geisha candy is sweet but any foreign candy you by isn't the same as ours because we use more sugar.. they use more chili or fruit,,, or mix with veg table...
If you are really that interested learn to read katakana. Usually the names are written in katakana and sound pretty much like English. . .popular flavors are strawberry, grape, muscat (green grape), peach, melon, orange. . .none of which sound gross to me. The more traditional desserts that use red beans or green tea powder you might not like.
Just buy stuff w a picture of fruit on the package!
