Tomatillo Salsa Verde
1 1/2 lb tomatillos
1/2 cup chopped white onion
1/2 cup cilantro leaves
1 Tbsp fresh lime juice
1/4 teaspoon sugar
2 Jalape?o peppers, stemmed, seeded and chopped
Salt to taste
1 Remove papery husks from tomatillos and rinse well. Cut in half and place cut side down on a foil-lined baking sheet. Place under a broiler for about 5-7 minutes to lightly blacken the skin.
2 Place tomatillos, lime juice, onions, cilantro, Jalape?o peppers, sugar in a food processor (or blender) and pulse until all ingredients are finely chopped and mixed. Season to taste with salt. Cool in refrigerator.

With green chiles, tomatillos, and green jalepenos, verde is the spanish word for green. Salsa verde-Green salsa.

SALSA VERDE CRUDA
4 lg. or 6 med. tomatillos
1/2 med. onion
1 med. clove of garlic, peeled
1 1/2 tbsp. seeded minced serrano green peppers
Fresh cilantro, 2 lg. sprigs
Salt
Remove husk, wash, core and coarsely chop tomatillos, chop onion, mince garlic, seed and mince serrano peppers, mince or cut with scissors the cilantro (exclude stems). Salt to taste and mix. Chop in manual food chopper until some liquid forms and the sauce has a loose consistency. Serve. The sauce loses flavor of the cilantro, becomes soggy and the texture breaks down when standing for a while.
yup.. green tomatillos.. chilles verdes... you can add more stuff depending on your taste...

Add 1 cup of water and consome mix along with the green tomatoes in a blender.
Shake till stirred
smash up some green tomatoes
i like whole roasted chilies blended with tomitios and onion cilantro and some times avocade diced up also fresh garlic and salt

well u have to get some tomatillos they look like green tomatoes but smaller and have leaves on them by cilantro,onions,and chilies of your type,boil the tomatillos with the chilis for about 5 to 8 min untill sofeten take them out of the water and put in a blender with a small pice of onion,garlic,clantro,and salt blend all together taste for salt if not enough add a little more.put into bowl and choped onion and chopped cilantro to taste and sever over chicken,pork,etc
