I tried it when i was in Okinawa . I ate it like jerky, it tastes pretty good. I tried it here in the states but it wasnt the same it was so old and the taste differed greatly.
Check online for oriental recipes containing that item. There should be a variety of sites to search.
Korean people eat it straight from the package as a snack and in cooking.Since it is dehydrated it will absorb water during cooking and plump back up.

Yep, me too, I like to eat it as a snack. I think that's what it is for, the only thing I can think of in the way of a recipe is in soups I guess. But it's just like beef jerky so it's just a snack.
We use it to make soup along with ingredients. Usually we don't eat it after we make the soup because it is so hard and rubbery.Anymore questions!

cut them up and top on salad
cut them up and put some lemon or lime juice and chilli peppers or hot sauce in it. Taste very good
