Answer:
A panino is a panino, a sandwich is a sandwich :P

I'm italian and to make a panino we use a different kind of bread (in rome we call this Bread Rosetta) This isn't grill :)

U can make a panino whit different food!
I love a panino whit MaYonese, Prosciutto and mozzarella! :)
fantastic!

But u can Use also the Salame, or Mortadella (without Mayonese), and a different kind of cheese! :)
A panini which comes from Italian and simply means small bread roll is becoming very popular across the U.S. these days.

In the U.S. it is a hot pressed sandwich filled with whatever one wants.

A particularly tasty one in the Northeast where I live, is a Cuban sandwich.
It is roast pork, ham, pickles, swiss cheese and mustard on a crusty roll or bread that is then pressed.
Paninis are grilled. That's it.
Cuban sandwiches are the best things around, I love pork
Drunken nights in italy = the best panini

Meat - Unkown (always order chicken anything else is unsafe, or horse) topped with frech fries ketchup and mayo. The best druken treat ever.
They are GRILLED SANDWICHES W/ CHEESE YOU DUMBASS
They grill press it vs Sandwich they don't
