My guess is 4 hours. If it is in the sunlight, 2 hours. I may be wrong, but better safe than sick. It is not pasturized, remember.
Until it turns green or black. Then it's time to toss it.
you should have it eaten within 3 weeks of making or buying the salsa. check on the web if you don't believe me
i would go with around 10 hrs at room temp (not direct sunlight)... provided there is some acid such as lemon/lime or vinegar in it which keeps it somewhat safe

personally i wouldnt trust it for more than a few hours, i just dont think botchulism is a sickness i would want too get ...
I really don't think you have to worry, provided this is a tomato or tomatillo based salsa, and particularly if you added some lime juice. It will taste bad before being dangerous, because of the acid. If it doesn't taste great, throw it out.
