We can buy Mozzarella di buffala (fem.) here in Canada. I actually bought one about a month ago but it cost me $8.00 (it was about 6 ounces). It was well-worth it. I made a Caprese salad (sliced tomatoes and alternating with the sliced cheese about 1/4-1/2" thick, lots of fresh basil leaves, salt and pepper to taste and fine quality extra virgin olive oil, served with fresh crusty Italian bread...to die for.
Mozzarella di bufala is quite expensive compared to the better known Mozzarella made from cow milk.
4oz (small Mozzarella Ball) is between $2.60 and $3.40
