Answer:
You could try hoodia. It's a natural appetite suppressant without the scary side affects.
Hmm dont buy icecream? Also - you could try eating plain celery before bed. Your body burns fat while you sleep - and your body will be burning fat with the amount of energy it takes just to digest the celery. You could snack on celery and carrot sticks when you get home, too.
i usually drink a peach smoothie
eat pomegranites.
it takes a long time to eat them, you peel it and take the seeds out and you can put it in a bowl and eat it in front of the tv. it will be really low in calories
Things to try:
brush your teeth
eat a pickle
drink water
eat really spicy food
otherwise, munch on something healthy, like carrots
I read that fresh lemon juice water no sugar will.Craving go away in 15 minuts so just wait.
Fats help satiate a person. Nuts (preferably not heavily salted ) have good nutritional value and would give you some fat.
Whole grain snacks take more time to be digested than processed foods, so they'll keep you feeling full longer. Popcorn takes time to eat and helps fill you up.- especially healthful if air-popped.
There are several ways to curb cravings. The first is to establish a proper diet. If you've already done this, then try something else. However, eating at regular intervals at the same time of day conditions your stomach and brain to expect food at that time. Eating small portions of (good) food will help you to become satiated faster. So, if you eat once at 9am, 1pm, and 6pm with a possible light snack at 9pm, then you'll eventually train your body to only expect food at those times. The only drawback is that you become MORE hungry at those times if you refuse to eat.
Second, watch the food you're snacking on. Sugar, carbs = bad. They are all processed quickly in the body and you will be hungry an hour later. If you eat healthier foods, then you become more satiated. You may have to deal with some hunger, as if your body isn't used to small amounts of good food, then it'll keep asking for more. It's just like training any other part of you body. It'll learn to do what you want it to.
Also, mastication (yes... chewing) can become a habit and possibly addictive. So can having any sort of material in your mouth. So... there are easy ways to counter this. Try chewing gum. Trident or something of the sort. See if chewing gum helps you to forget about the hunger. Also, the stomach is kind of stupid. If you feed it tiny bits of food for a long time, it feels happier. Try eating things that aren't "poppable." No chips, cookies, bite sized snacks. I used to work on sunflower seeds for hours at a time between meals. The act of cracking the shell took care of the need to chew and the seed itself took care of putting stuff into my stomach. It gets tedious, but it might help.
Ultimately, moderation and holding back is the key. DOn't eat when you're not supposed to and eat normal amounts of good food when you are. Put you and your body on a schedule and cravings go away pretty quickly. You'll also get full faster and you won't want any of the greasy chips of sugar-full ice cream.
If you like tea..buy the Celestial "peppermint" tea. It helps me especially at night time. You can also try drinking water instead of eating. It will stop your craving as well. Good luck!
Plan a healthy snacks for you to have when you get home.
Try these. they are my 3:00pm snacks that get me through to dinner.
2 Wasa crackers(only 20 calories each) with a Brummel and Brown strawberry yogurt spread and hot green tea with a squirt of honey
2 Wasa crackers with two slice of deli turkey, a mozzarella string cheese, and a chopped apple...H2O to drink
100 calorie bag of microwave popcorn
1 slice of whole grain toast with peanut butter and sugar-free jam, skim milk to drink
These are just some snacks I have had this week. I have also purchased some of those 100 calorie snack packs of cookies... they are actually pretty good in a pinch. You could keep some in the car or one in your purse.
Always keep bottled water and llowfat or light yogurt( not the ones with aspartame!) in your fridge!
If I have had my snack and I am feeling like I still want something, a mug of hot green tea will usually get me through it just fine.
What you need to do is eliminate the sugar and caffeine from your diet. Yes, you need to get rid of coffee and chocolate. The reason you are craving food all the time is because every time you eat sugar, your body burns it for energy...then when it is done burning, your stomach growls for more. What you want to do is have your body burn the food and then go burn stored calories. Caffeine will make you hungry. The more of it you have, the more you will be hungry. Good luck. Give it a try. You will see. You won't be hungry except at mealtime.
Drink plenty of water. Your mind sometimes make you think that your hungry when in fact its just thirst. If you are trying to lose weight I'm assuming your exercising and maybe you are not drinking enough. I've heard that the amount of water you need is your weight in ounces (this includes water that is already in food), which can help guide you a bit.
PS: dont be afraid to eat more often, just eat less amount. Eating 5 times a day can also help you lose weight. BUT remember you have to eat less calories, Whatever your daily calorie intake goal is keep to it.
.
Spaghetti is pretty good. Salsa Maria.
And have it COOKED then.
Emotions come from the stomache,
I once heard.
